Michael Jackson’s Last Music Projects Revealed

What kind of music was the King of Pop dreaming up before he died? Read on for the dish.

The late star was at work on a pop album and classical, instrumental pieces, says Billboard.com. On the pop album, he was collaborating with songwriter Claude Kelly and R&B star Akon, who says Michael was inspired by popular demand for tickets to his shows.

"He said, ‘My fans are still there. They still love me. They’re alive,’" Akon says. "His kids are like his first priority, and they had never seen him perform live. He was trying to create the most incredible show for his kids."

Behind the Scenes of Michael Jackson’s ‘This is It’ Concert

Michael Jackson was busy putting on the final touches for his 50-date London concerts at the O2 Arena when he unexpectedly died. Now, ET’s Thea Andrews is with the men behind the massive production to reveal what could have been Michael’s most incredible concert tour yet!

A show filled with music, dance, stunts and pyrotechnics, Michael’s "This is It" concert was being directed by Kenny Ortega, the man who designed Michael’s "Dangerous" tour, choreographed ‘Dirty Dancing’ and also brought "High School Musical" to the world. Kenny says that Michael promised "the concert of a lifetime" and was prepared to deliver.

"We [had] some fun things planned," he says, referring to gigantic spiders, 20-foot puppets, a flaming bed, a pole dancing aerialist, a 3D movie and plenty more magic. "It’s complex in scale and it’s as big as anything I’ve ever done or attempted to do for an arena production."

Fiddes speaks in the video at length about things he witnessed with Jackson associate and renowned paranormalist Uri Geller. "Uri confiscated injection equipment from his room and whisked it away, and Uri would scream intensely at Michael to stop doing this," Fiddes says.

Fiddes tells the interviewer that one morning "[Michael] was hard to wake." "We were extremely concerned," Fiddes says, continuing, "and I can remember it clearly now, Michael was there and Uri was shaking him saying, ‘Michael, have you taken something?’ and he would come round and just say it was jet lag."

July 3rd, 2009

His first recordings were in 1953, and he made one of his first big breakthroughs in 1956 with his appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. His style was so unique and attractive to the Baby Boomer generation that it helped to influence and direct cataclysmic changes in music genre. The Baby Boomers were the primary fans of 60s music, and their support was what drove other artists, like the Beatles, to develop a new style that would mark their generation as unique. Music is a cultural and social expression of the people, and that was never truer than in the case of 60s music. Baby Boomers” musical choices reflected the postmodern political and social upheavals of the time, including the assassination of a president, an unpopular war, the civil and women rights movements, and the Cold War. It was the music that remains as a lasting representation of their legacy.

We tend to obstruct the free flow of blood through unconscious tensing of the various muscles and also the blood vessels themselves. Relaxation is essential for healthy circulation. Perform deep relaxation daily, imagining the blood vessels opening and the blood flowing freely to the parts of the body which have insufficient circulation.

ET Investigates: Who is the Biological Father of Michael Jackson’s Kids?

This week a shocking report surfaced claiming that the biological father of Michael Jackson’s children is actually the King of Pop’s one-time doctor — and Debbie Rowe’s former boss — Beverly Hills dermatologist Arnold Klein. Now, ET recruits a board certified plastic surgeon to do a comparative facial analysis of the children!

"When you examine the pictures of Dr. Klein and try to compare them to Prince and Paris, there really is very little resemblance between the two," says Dr. Brian S. Glatt. "It seems to me that he would be very unlikely to be genetically related to them."

Looking at certain "giveaway" facial features such as the nose, eye color, hair color and facial structure, Dr. Glatt says there is very little similarity in appearance other than the fact that Dr. Klein and the children have light-colored skin.

Diane Dimond on the Latest Michael Jackson Bombshells

Investigative journalist Diane Dimond, who has been covering Michael Jackson since 1993, talks to ET about the latest bombshell from the King of Pop’s will.

Earlier today, ET reported that Michael Jackson’s will states that if his mother, Katherine Jackson, is unable to raise his children, he would like Diana Ross to take over the care of his kids.

"Michael always idolized Diana Ross," Diane tells ET. "There were reports he always wanted to look like her. When Michael and his brothers first moved to Hollywood, Motown sent them out ahead of the rest of the family. Katherine Jackson was beside herself that her son was living with Diana Ross. She’s always felt a jealousy with Diana Ross. I can’t see how this pleases Katherine Jackson one iota."

Former child star Mark Lester, who is best known for playing the lead role in ‘Oliver’ and is the godfather to Michael Jackson’s two older children, talks to ET about the death of the King of Pop.

Mark, who is now an osteopath, last saw Michael when MJ came to London last March to announce his 50-date concert tour.

It is Mark’s opinion that Michael would never have contemplated setting such a tough performance schedule if he "wasn’t on top of it." Mark also tells ET, "If he couldn’t have done it, he wouldn’t have done it."

Nine out of ten independent artist, have this misconception that the music business is about 90%

July 1st, 2009

Nine out of ten independent artist, have this misconception that the music business is about 90% talent and 10% business. That is so far from the truth that it is ridiculous. The truth is its totally the opposite. The music industry is 90% business and 10% talent. Out of 100 independent artist that I have interviewed 99% of them create a demo and submit it to every record label on the planet. Then they walk around telling everyone that they are about to get a record deal soon. To put it nicely ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

The Magic Mandolin Lesson

b95

I recently got my youngest son a mandolin lesson. He has never played the mandolin before but I think he really liked the experience and we were both very excited about it. I should admit that I have always pushed him a little harder to play music. I didn”t know if it would happen or not, though. The point is that the whole family plays. My wife is a fiddler, I play the accordion, and my older son plays harmonica and guitar, my daughter - the banjo. I figured if my son took a mandolin lesson he might like it and start practicing. That”s how we could all make music together. But there was a time when my son was not willing to listen to me and he refused to have a mandolin lesson.

"Michael Jackson had serious financial problems, there’s no secret about that," he says. "In the past couple of years he was fortunate to have some people come forward who really bailed him out."
